Prayer for Women Murdered by their Spouses
The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women is marked on November 25th.
In Shira Hadisha, as in many shuls, this day is marked on an adjacent Shabbat by saying "A prayer for the women of Israel that were murdered by their spouses", following the Prayer for the Welfare of the State of Israel.
